A WREXHAM band which has enjoyed a year like no other has thanked fans for a 'great night' at the Christmas gig it headlined over the weekend.
Declan Swans have well and truly become a well-known name throughout Wrexham and beyond in 2022.
Their hit 'Always Sunny in Wrexham' has become a matchday anthem at the Racecourse ground and has become a hit worldwide too thanks to their appearance on the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary.
As well as that, the band also made an appearance on BBC just a few weeks ago alongside fellow Wrexham hero Robbie Savage.
To cap off an extraordinary year, Declan Swans took to the stage at the Rockin Chair in Wrexham on Saturday, December 17.

They have since thanked their 'amazing fans' for their support throughout the year as they look forward to 2023.
A statement from the band read: "What a night it was. 2023 is just a blink away and the journey with our amazing fans continues. Thank you all for a great night #music #wrexham"

Declan Swans have been performing in the Wrexham area for over 20 years.
The three-piece band is made up of singer Michael 'Scoot' Hett, drummer Ben Jones and guitarist Mark Jones.
According to band manager Steve Cusack, the band is hoping to make an appearance over in the USA in the new year with the documentary having boosted their reputation overseas.
