The weekend looks set to bring an end to the baltic weather across Flintshire and Wrexham.
Temperatures have been well below freezing for large parts of the week so far, with lows of around -6C and -7C.
A yellow weather warning was in place for Wrexham and parts of Flintshire on Monday for fog and ice, but that has now cleared.
Two schools closed as a result of the weather and driving conditions were severely affected by the fog, especially in Flintshire.

The cold mornings and evenings will persist, with lows of -2C until Friday. However, the Met Office says that while it is officially -2C, it will feel more like -5C or -6C.
It will gradually get warmer throughout the week, with highs of 3C by Friday.
Then over the weekend, the Met Office expects highs of 10C throughout Sunday.
Saturday will not be as warm, with it only expected to be as warm as 5C.
The relatively warm weather is expected to continue into next week, with highs of 10C predicted for Monday across Wrexham and Flintshire.
The warmer conditions will be a welcome to most following the freezing nature of the past few days.
