“Friday was an immensely proud day for Wrexham. It was an honour to attend the civic service to mark the granting of City Status for Wrexham. I felt delighted and privileged to meet His Majesty, King Charles and Her Majesty, Queen Consort.

“I was thrilled to be there representing Wrexham Glyndwr University. City Status will certainly positively impact us at the university. We are already finding that there is more interest from applicants beyond the region, including internationally. This is not only good news for us, but for the whole area.”
