North Wales Police have confirmed that missing walker, Jack Irvine has been found.
Concerns were raised for the whereabouts of the 81-year-old after he was reported missing yesterday (December 11).
Mr Irvine, an avid walker left his home on the Wirral at 9am, where it was believed he was headed to Moel Famau.
Concerns mounted due to a lack of contact and the worsening weather conditions.

However, this afternoon police confirmed that Mr Irvine had been located safe and well.
A spokesperson said: "We are pleased to report that 81-year-old Jack Irvine from Wirral, who was reported missing after going walking in Moel Famau on Sunday (December 11th), was found safe and well in the early hours of this morning.
"Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal to trace him."
NEWSAR also confirmed that they assisted with the search for Mr Irvine, late on Sunday.
A spokesperson said: "Late on Sunday evening North Wales Police requested assistance from The Team regarding an overdue walker in the area around Moel Famau. Our volunteers deployed with three vehicles to the last known location for the man, in the village of Cilcain.
"Shortly after we arrived the good news was received that a local person was with the missing walker and he was brought down by Police Officers to our search control vehicle.
"He was medically assessed by one of our Casualty Care qualified members before being discharged back to the care of North Wales Police."
