Wrexham Winter Festival and Christmas Markets were held in Queen's Square today (Saturday, December 10) marking the first of the two-day event.
The festivities were in full swing in the city centre today, with the Wrexham Christmas Makers Market also being held in Ty Pawb.
From 11 am to 8pm visitors could enjoy a variety of stalls and entertainment. Handmade jewellery and clothing, as well as condiments and soaps could be found in a long marquee under cover, but the centre of the market saw various food and drink stalls.

Despite the weather, stallholders kept visitors in high spirits and a live entertainment marquee could be found at the far end of the market
There was something for everyone, being both children and adult friendly.
The market will resume tomorrow as the stallholders prepare for another cold, wintry day.
