A total of 19 people have been caught drink or drug driving across Wrexham and Flintshire during a police campaign.
The four Welsh forces– North Wales Police, Gwent Police, South Wales Police and Dyfed-Powys Police have launched their Christmas Anti Drink and Drug Driving Campaign and are aiming to catch people who risk their life and the lives of others by getting behind the wheel whilst under the influence.

During the first week of the campaign North Wales Police have confirmed that across the region, 27 drug drive arrests and 14 drink drive arrests have been made.
Of the 41 total arrests, 11 have been in Flintshire and 8 have been in Wrexham county.
North Wales Police said: “Checks will continue and our officers are on patrol 24/7 looking for those who are risking lives.
“It's your choice.”
