Marston's has confirmed that they will be re-opening the Cross Foxes early next year.
Earlier this week, the Cross Foxes took to their social media to confirm the pub would be closing its doors following 25 years.
The pub, part of the Brunning and Price chain will close on January 8.
In a statement, they thanked customers for their support over the years and said they wanted to make it a 'festive season to remember' ahead of the closure early next year.

In response, Marston's has confirmed that they will be re-opening the pub early next year, although an exact date has not yet been revealed.
A spokesperson for Marston's said: “The decision was taken by Marston’s not to renew the lease on the Cross Foxes, which comes to an end next year.
"Brunning & Price expressed a desire to end their occupation sooner and have chosen to close the premises to trade after Christmas and New Year.
"Marston’s is facilitating this and we will be re-opening the pub early next year and look forward to welcoming customers back.”
