WREXHAM residents are being urged not to 'be alarmed' if they see more polic officers than usual in the city today (Friday, December 9).
That is due to patrols being stepped up as King Charles makes his Royal visit to celebrate city status.
His Majesty is due to visit St Giles' Parish Church in the city centre today to mark Wrexham's new city status with a celebratory ceremony.
North Wales Police says it will have a 'visible presence' of uniformed officers on duty, as well as plain clothes officers.
