ROADS in Wrexham city centre are to be closed today for the visit of King Charles III.
His Majesty will be visiting St Giles Church for a ceremony to mark Wrexham's new city status.
Wrexham Council has said it is working with North Wales Police to close the following roads to traffic on Friday, December 9:
• High St closed 8am-3pm (deliveries will be accommodated where possible)
• Hope St closed 11am-2pm
• Queen St closed 11am-2pm
• Regent Street closed 11am-2pm (to Waterstones)
• Lambpit Street closed 11am-2pm
• Church Street closed 9am-3pm (as previously publicised)
