Event organiser, Amanda Davies, has found, that for many in the region "the event starts Christmas for them."
As well as stalls visitors can ride the carousel, Ferris wheel or try their luck at some traditional victorian games.
There is also a Punch and Judy stand as well as a musical nostalgia organ.

Several performers and entertainers have taken to the streets to entertain the crowd including a magician, juggler/unicycle rider, stilt walkers and carol singers.
Amanda said the organisers were trying to ensure that there was "something all the time" for the crowds attending, which has been around 35,000 in previous years.
The markets continue in the cathedral where several stalls have been set up
and the venue has been decorated beautifully with angels in the entrance.Later this evening crowds can enjoy performances from school children and the Salvation Army choir at St Giles cathedral.
The city is set to host further Christmas events over the coming week as on Saturday, December 10, there will be the Christmas Maker's Market at Ty Pawb as well as the Wrexham Street Market on Henblas Street.
In addition, the Wrexham Winter Festival and Christmas Market will take place in Queens Square on both Saturday and Sunday.
