A FLINTSHIRE community garden project is to host a Christmas Open day with donkeys, crafts and even Mr Claus.
The free family-friendly event is taking place at the Bagilt Community Garden on Saturday, December 10, from 10am to 12pm.
The Community Garden is a development on an old industrial site situated near Bagillt Railway Station.
The two-acre site was taken on by charity group Community Heart Productions in February 2021, spearheaded by manager Lyn Wakefield.

Community Heart was given space in Bagillt Community Garden, owned by Bagillt Heritage Society, to develop an educational food growing zone for the community, called 'Growing Together'.
The upcoming Christmas event will include Santa's Grotto, Christmas donkey rides, Christmas crafts, reindeer and elves, face painting and fruit and vegetables.
Those attending will receive a ticket for the grotto as well as a free doughnut.
Visitors are invited to park at the Wrights Garden Buildings, Station Road, Bagilt, CH66AF and then walk over the green bridge to the community garden.
