WREXHAM foodbank has revealed they are 'touched' by the generosity of overseas donations.
It comes following an influx of money being sent via PayPal from the United States and Canada to help support the foodbank after Turf Hotel landlord, Wayne Jones revealed he will be donating all earnings from the pub's food van as well as tips and donations to the cause.
It was a move which saw Wrexham AFC co-owner, Rob McElhenney announce he will double whatever The Turf raise.
The selfless act of generosity prompted landlord, Wayne to label the co-chairman as 'a hero'.
Wrexham fans from across the pond and here in the UK wasted no time in digging deep to give to the foodbank via PayPal.
