Hungry motorists may have been disappointed to find McDonald's in Chirk closed recently.

The Chirk branch of the fast food chain, off the Halton roundabout, where the A483 meets the A5, closed on November 26 for what a spokesperson described as 'general maintenance'.

However, it is set to reopen later this week. 

The spokesperson for Mcdonald's confirmed that the Drive-Thru would re-open at 11am on Thursday, December 8. 

While the main restaurant will resume service from 3pm on Friday, December 9.
