DRIVERS are being urged to avoid part of the A541 in Flintshire due to a crash this evening (Wednesday, November 30).
North Wales Police say the incident is affecting the A541 between Rhydymwyn and Mold.
The Welsh Ambulance Service (WAS) has also been at the scene of the accident.
A spokesperson for WAS said: "We received a call at 16:40pm to an incident on the A541, and responded with two Rapid Response vehicles, two Emergency Ambulances and are being assisted by the Air Ambulance team via Road."
A statement from North Wales Police read: "The A541 between Rhydymwyn and Mold is currently closed due to a collision. Please find alternative routes."
A report from the AA's live traffic update system read: "A541 both ways closed due to accident between B5123 (Rhydymwyn) and Black Brook (Rhyd-Y-Goleu). Affecting traffic between Mold and Rhydymwyn."
