TWO free family festive events are being held in Wrexham next month.
Wrexham Council Rangers in partnership with two community councils in the city have organised two festive events in the run-up to Christmas.
Described as 'perfect for families', they could be the ideal way to get into the festive spirit.
The first event, organised by Rhos Community Council will take place at Ponciau park on Sunday, December 11 between 1pm and 3pm.
A spokesperson for the Wrexham Council Rangers said: "Naughty elves have run off around the park with Santa’s presents!
"Follow the Christmas trail to find where all the naughty elves are hiding! Perfect for families, collect a handout at the start of the trail near the bandstand and follow the trail around the park to find all the naughty elves."

There will be activities on the day including a lucky dip and a free Christmas decoration stand.
A week later at Acton Park, the second event gets underway.
Between 1pm and 3pm on Sunday, December 18, a reindeer-inspired event takes place at the back of the Cunliffe pub on Jeffrey's Road.
The spokesperson for council rangers said: "Santa’s reindeer have gotten loose and run off around the park! Help Santa find where his reindeer have gone!
"Perfect for families, collect a handout at the start of the trail near the Cunliffe Bowling Club and then follow the trail around the park to find Santa's reindeer."
Again, there will also be a number of activities on offer on the day as well as hot drinks available.
