The organisers of the Mold Christmas Frost fair have announced a location change for the Father Christmas Grotto. 

The Frost Fair is taking place from 11am until 4pm on Mold High Street today, November 27. 

The event is organised by the Artisan Network featuring a range of festive gift and food stalls. 

The artisan network announced this morning that the location of Father Christmas Grotto has changed to outside the Kiosk & HSBC.

In a statement a spokesperson for the group said: "UPDATE - location change for Father Christmas Grotto, he will now be outside the Kiosk & HSBC 11am -2pm.

"Big shout out to Cravin’ for allowing us to use their electric, they are definitely on Santa's Good List. All stalls at the Frost Fair are now on the High Street (nothing on the square)."

The fair will feature created gifts such as willow weaved baskets, carefully crafted homeware, original artwork, cashmere scarves, knitted beanies, eco friendly gifts, crystal jewellery, gluten-free pies, gourmet savoury muffins, carved wooden gifts, children’s keepsakes and toys, cruelty free beauty, home fragrance, plants, luxury fudge, doughnuts, vegan cheese, handcrafted ales, alcohol free sparkling wine, dog accessories, handmade bags, Welsh botanical Gin, toffee liqueur…. and so much more!

Funds raised at the Santa's grotto will go to the Mayor of Mold Fundraising Appeal.

The festivities in Mold will continue on through the Christmas season with the annual Christmas Light Switch on taking place tomorrow, November 28. 

It will include entertainment on the square from 3.30pm. There will be performances from school choirs, Mold Town Concert Band, Mountain Harmony Choir and Disney Princess Elsa.

Father Christmas will arrive at 6.25pm to turn the lights on at 6.30pm, after which he will be speaking to the children outside his grotto. 

There will be gift and food stalls on the square from midday and at 3.30pm.

Theatr Clwyd will be joining the festivities in the square to make Christmas decorations with the children. There will also be a fun fair on the High Street from 3.30pm - 8pm.
