AN OFFICER was taken to hospital after a crash involving a marked police car.
The incident occurred on the A539 Llangollen Road in Trevor on Wednesday night.
The incident involved two vehicles, one of them being a marked police car, and the road was shut whilst emergency services dealt with the collision.
North Wales Police has confirmed that one of its officers was taken to hospital following the incident, but has since been discharged.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 6.40pm yesterday (Tuesday, November 22) we were called to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A539 Llangollen Road, Trevor.
“One of the vehicles involved was a marked police car. The road was closed while officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service.
“An officer was taken to hospital for treatment and released shortly after."
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said two of its crews attended the incident, and that one person was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters.
The Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed that only one person was taken to hospital following the incident.
