A WREXHAM councillor has praised the atmosphere at Ty Pawb as they held their first World Cup fan zone.
Wales' Group B opener saw a much improved second half display rewarded by a Gareth Bale penalty kick which earned a 1-1 draw for The Dragons.
Fan zones across the nation gathered to cheer on Rob Page's men. Wrexham was no different, as the city came together from the Turf pub and High Street to Ty Pawb.

Cllr Nigel Williams, lead member for the Economy and Regeneration, who was in attendance at Ty Pawb heaped praise on the venue and atmosphere: “A well deserved point for Wales as Bale scored the first goal for Wales at a World Cup match in 64 years.
"The atmosphere at Ty Pawb was incredible from the singing of the national anthem to the final whistle everyone remained completely tuned into what was going on and you could sense the passion for this great Welsh team.
"Good luck Wales for your next match and either see you in Ty Pawb or, especially if the weather is better, on the High Street.”
Wales' World Cup campaign continues this Friday (November 25) against Iran kicking off at 10:00am.
