A VIDEO has been shared showing the moment a Wrexham fanzone erupted into scenes of celebration as Wales scored its first World Cup goal in 64 years.
The opening Group B match at Qatar 2022 saw Wales take on USA at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
Timothy Weah's goal put the States ahead at half time, but Wales secured a 1-1 draw late on as Gareth Bale converted a penalty.
Fanzones were held throughout Wrexham from the Turf pub and High Street to Ty Pawb.
