CHILDREN in Need takes place this evening and many children across the region have been getting into the spirit by dressing up in Pudsey Bear themed outfits or wearing something spotty.
The annual BBC event takes place every year in November to raise money and awareness for children up and down the country who are struggling and in need in different types of circumstances.

Children in Need raised over an incredible £50 million in 2021 and will be hoping to build on that success this year.
A feature of the event has always been to get children across Britain involved by raising money through various events and activities at home or at school, and youngsters across Wrexham and Flintshire are no different.
We asked readers to send in photographs of their young ones showing their support for Children in Need and needless to say, they failed to disappoint.
