A North Wales unpaid carers service has announced a list of charities confirmed to attend the upcoming information event in Flintshire.
The NEWCIS carers right day event is being held at the charities headquarters in Mold on Wednesday, November 23 from 10am until 1pm at 28-44 New Street.
NEWCIS is one of the largest providers of carer services in Wales – delivering information, one to one support, training and counselling to carers who provide unpaid support to family or friends living in North East Wales.
The event will include charities such as age connects, Citizens Advice, Foodbanks, Red Cross, HOPE, Kiminspire, Victim Support, North Wales Police, ASNEW, Home Instead, Warm Wales, Utilities Warehouse, Flintshire Council and Flintshire Council Direct Debit Payments team.
National Carers Rights Day is on Thursday, November 24, and is a national campaign that brings organisations together to help unpaid carers know their rights and find out how to get the support they are entitled to.

Joanne Burke, gateway wellbeing officer for NEWCIS Wrexham, said: "We've seen a massive difference over the last few months with more inquiries about grants as people are struggling."
She continued: "We have people on the phone crying over paying fuel costs and it is having an affect on mental health - it's not an easy job."
