A YELLOW warning for rain has been issued for north east Wales.
The Met Office has issued the warning for throughout Thursday - with heavy rain forecast throughout the day - from midnight up until midnight on Friday.
The warning extends across Flintshire and most of Wrexham (see map below).
The Met Office is warning people to expect:
- A small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
- Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Should flooding occur, delays or cancellations to train and bus services are likely
- There is a small chance that some communities may be temporarily cut off by flooded roads
