“The day was the first event of its kind in Wrexham, and saw a variety of agencies coming together at Queen’s Square, Wrexham to give members of the public the opportunity to meet members of the emergency services, charities and volunteer groups.
“The day involved a great deal of preparation and planning, and it was great to see staff across all the watches working together, supported by our community safety staff and staff from neighbouring stations.
“It was a great day for everyone involved, helping to showcase the work we all do to support the communities we serve.
"As a station, we’re thrilled with this recognition and it’s great to hear that our work has inspired staff from the Service to hold similar events.”
Another success for the station came as Sam Wright was awarded Learner of the Year for his efforts as an apprentice firefighter at Wrexham Fire Station.
