Co-owner Jayne Jones has been in the funeral business for several years prior to launching her own family business with her daughter Natalie Jones.
Jayne said: "It was important to us to open the doors to both support the troops and show people they can come in and it is not a frightening morbid place."
She continued: "We are a family, not just a firm."
Her daughter Natalie Jones added: "We want people to come in and feel relaxed and have a sit down and a chat."
The business is hoping to continue to open its doors to the public through coffee mornings in the future.
Providing a comfortable and relaxing environment is a priority to the duo who have even installed a fish tank for children that may come in.
Jayne said: "We have had a little boy come in to count and name the fishes. It's wonderful."
