A YOUNG autistic boy from Wrexham has been praised for his 'amazing work' in re-creating Wrexham AFC's historic home ground with Lego.

Milo Evans, 10, spent his Sunday afternoon (November 13), making his own version of the Racecourse ground.

And when mum Kayleigh posted a picture of her son's design to social media, an outpouring of praise followed for the young Wrexham fan.

Even Wrexham AFC re-tweeted the pictures and hailed Ysgol Bodhyfryd School pupil Milo's masterpiece.

A statement from them read: "Bendigedig, Milo! Amazing work."

The post on Twitter has also been liked by the club's co-chairmen Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.

At present, the Lego Racecourse ground has gained 81,000+ impressions on Twitter with fans all over Wrexham and beyond liking and sharing the creation.

Milo is a member of Wrexham AFC's quiet zone at the Racecourse, which supports people with autism.

His impressive re-make of the stadium took him just over an hour to put together.

Mum Kayleigh said: "Milo is an avid football fan and a keen player although his social anxiety which is part of his ASD stops him from playing the sport.

"He likes to go and watch the home games at the racecourse with me and has recreated the stadium in just over an hour from visual memory.

"The reaction he has received from fans from Wrexham and further afield has given him a huge confidence boost."
