THE HUGELY-popular documentary detailing Wrexham AFC's takeover by two famous actors has received a top prize at the Critics Choice Documentary Awards.
'Welcome to Wrexham' first aired on Disney Plus back in September and went on to receive high praises from around the world.
The 18-episode series follows Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover journey and also shines a spotlight on the local community.
As well as that, it gives important lessons on Wales' history as a nation, the troubles Wrexham has faced down the years and so much more.

Now, the documentary and its team behind it has been rewarded for their efforts in highlighting Wrexham as a whole.
Last night (Sunday, November 13), at the prestigious Critics Choice Documentary Awards, both Welcome to Wrexham and Citizen Ashe won the best Sports Doumentary gong.
They had come up against; Hockeyland, Kaepernick & America, McEnroe and The Redeem Team for the prize.
A statement from the Critics Choice Awards read: "Congratulations to the crew behind Welcome to Wrexham - the documentary has won the critics choice doumentary award for best sports documentary."

Following the win, Ryan Reynolds Tweeted: "Congratulations @WrexhamFX and the entire team behind #WelcomeToWrexham!"
Rob McElhenney has confirmed that a second season of the series will air in the near future.
