A family run fruit and vegetable shop in Deeside is set to close after 50 years in business.
Whiltons Fruit and Veg is based at on the Shotton High street opposite Wepre.
The shop has been running for just over 50 years and was set up by the parents of current owner Rosemary Whilton.
Mrs Whilton began working at the shop 46 years ago when she was just 17 years old and has now announced the closure of the business after new year.
She said: "It has been the main part of my life."
The decision to close the shop has been extremely difficult for Mrs Whilton who married her long term partner Brian earlier last year after 27 years together.

Sadly, shortly after the marriage Bryan was given a life changing diagnosis.
In a statement on Facebook Mrs Whilton said: "I now feel its the right time to close so I can spend quality time with him while I can.
"Its broke my heart to come to this decision."
Residents and customers of Whiltons expressed their sadness about the news and gratitude for the service Mrs Whilton has provided over the years.
Pam Jacques said: "I would personally like to thank you for all years you have served the Deeside area. You will be missed and so will your quality products. Family does come first and my best wishes go to you both."
Pat Leach also shared her gratitude: "End of an era! Thankyou so much for everything over the years. Your fruit and veg has been the best in the area and you will be much missed. Mancot pensioners group have enjoyed your strawberries for strawberry tea and fruit hampers for our Christmas raffle. Take care and thankyou for everything over the years."
However despite Whiltons shop closing Mrs Whilton will be continuing to sell fruit and veg to those in Flintshire through her Nurseries 'Woodnook' which is based on Sealand Road.
She said: "We will be open from the end of April as usual for the sale of bedding plants and we should have a good selection of home grown veg available late spring onwards."
The Nurseries 'Woodnook' is based at CH5 2LQ.
