A PREMIER League manager will be visiting a Wrexham festival this weekend, its organisers have confirmed.

The inaugural Wal Goch Festival - aimed at celebrating all things football - will be taking place between Friday, November 11 and Sunday, November 13.

Its guest of honour will be none other than Welsh music icon Dafydd Iwan.

Other big names from the worlds of football and film will come together in Wrexham, the Welsh game’s ‘spiritual home’ to celebrate and explore football culture from the perspective of the most important figures of all - the fans.

Among one of the most exciting events taking place over the weekend is a Q and A session with current Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch.

He will be appearing at Glyndwr University's William Aston Hall on Sunday, November 13.

A statement from the festival organisers confirming his attendance read: "Jesse Marsch, Leeds United manager will be joining us for the Q&A for Soccer Town USA.

"If you want to come + put some questions about Jesse he'll be at the William Aston Hall at Glyndwr University at 2PM Sunday, Nov 13. Head over to www.footballfansfestival.com to get your tickets today!"

The American took charge of Leeds in February of this year and helped keep the club in the top-flight come the end of the 21/22 season.

The 49-year-old was previously in charge of the likes of New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Salzburg and Red Bull Leipzig.

The Wal Goch Festival promises to be a real treat for any die-hard football fan with a range of activites available throughout the weekend.
