A 'FABULOUS' display of poppies has appeared in Corwen ahead of Remembrance weekend.
Respects will be paid to soldiers past and present during Remembrance Day events this weekend.
Remembrance Day is on November 11 as this is when WWI officially ended.
The Armistice was signed on November 11, 1918, and came into force at 11am.
That is why on Remembrance Day, people across the country take part in a two-minute moment of silence at 11am.

A poppy display has been created for Corwen's Canolfan Ni/South Denbighshire Community Partnership (SDCP) site.
It took around a month for the centre's craft and chat group to create it.
A spokesperson for the centre said: "Our fabulous craft and chat group plus some others have been very busy over the past month or so creating this fabulous display of poppies for remembrance day.
"A huge thank you to each and everyone of you for all your hard work and dedication creating this beautiful piece now on display for the whole community and passers by to admire too."
Canolfan Ni says a warm welcome awaits anyone who is interested in joining its weekly craft and chat group which is held every Friday between 9.30-11.30am at the centre.
