FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a home in Chirk after an air fryer caught fire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just before 11.10pm on Wednesday night reporting the incident, in Walden Crescent.

Two crews attended - one each from Chirk and Llangollen.
A spokesman for the service said the air fryer had gone on fire due to an electrical fault, and the damage was limited to the appliance itself after water was used to extinguish it.
There were no casualties in the incident, which was declared over just before 11.30pm.
