Wrexham and Flintshire boasts 11 restaurants on the Michelin and AA recommended list.
The Michelin Guide and AA recommended lists are renowned measures of culinary excellence across the globe.
Micheal Ellis, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide book said: “A restaurant in the Recommended selection is the sign of a chef using quality ingredients that are well cooked; simply a good meal.
“It means that the inspectors have found the food to be above average, but not quite at star or Bib level.”
The Michelin Guide currently features one restaurant in Wrexham and one in Flintshire.
In Wrexham The Hand at Llanarmon is described as "Nestled at the head of the valley, the Hand is ideally located for those who like to get away from it all. Choose a ‘Hand Classic’ such as mushrooms on toast or pick from ‘Today’s Choices’ like Welsh lamb with black pudding."
The Hand at Llanarmon is also the recipient of a covetted AA Rosette award.
