A FREE event is set to be held at Wrexham's Ty Pawb next Thursday (November 17) to celebrate World Children's Day.
The event is for children, young people, and families taking place from 4.30pm until 7pm.
The event will be completely free of charge including free food, information market stalls and entertainment including a treasure hunt, circus skills, sports, photo booth, glitter faces, live bug display, live music and performances, play activities and much more.
Those attending are encouraged to wear something blue as it is the internationally recognised colour of World Children’s Day in the hope it will bring attention to the importance of children’s rights.
Ty Pawb will also turn blue to mark and celebrate the occasion.

Schools across Wrexham have been invited with staff and pupils asked to wear something blue.
Established in 1954 as Universal Children’s Day, World Children's Day is celebrated on November 20 each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide and improving children’s welfare.
November 20 holds importance as it is the date in 1959 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. It is also the date in 1989 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Since 1990, World Children’s Day marks the anniversary of the date that the UN General Assembly adopted both the Declaration and the Convention on children’s rights.
