WREXHAM'S air raid siren will be sounded as part of the Armistice Day commemorations.
The siren, which is located at Wrexham County Borough Museum can be heard an incredible two and a half miles away from the city centre and will act as a poignant moment as Wrexham stops to remember.
The siren will sound at 11am on Friday, November 11, coinciding with a two minute silence which takes place on Queens Square following a bugler playing the Last Post at 10.59am.
Members of the public are invited to attend.
