A 'SILHOUETTE' tribute to soldiers past and present has been stolen from Wrexham.
The sculpture on Chester Road was reported missing on Friday, November 4.
The sculpture depicts a ‘Tommy’ – an informal term for a soldier in the British Army – who stands thoughtfully, head bowed, rifle in hand.
Silhouette figures such as this one have been designed and manufactured by the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) - a national charity supporting the Armed Forces, people with disabilities and people who are unemployed.

Mike Norbury, support sergeant for NWP's Wrexham rural team said: "It’s been busy for us over the weekend with football and bonfire night, alongside the normal crime and welfare matters. Although, I am pleased to report that policing issues related to both have been few and far between.
"I am very distressed about the theft of one of the Tommy Silhouettes from Chester Road. We are investigating and would welcome any information to assist our inquiries."
Support sergeant Norbury adds that Wrexham Council made the initial call to report the theft at 2.10pm.
He said: "I don't know what to say about this - If you know where it is, or you have it, please be respectful and return it."
Anyone who thinks they could help with the investigation should call 101 and use the reference number; 22000810821.
