Mold and Buckley Round Table have confirmed the return of their Santa sleigh after two years.

The sleigh will return to the streets of Mold on select dates throughout December starting and finishing at a pub, giving people the chance to meet Santa there.

Mold and Buckley Round Table are also on the hunt for volunteers from groups to help with collecting on the nights.

A spokesman for The Round Table said: "Mold and Buckley Round Table are proud to be bringing Santa to the streets of Mold.

"The money we raise (will) go straight back into the community, so please come and join us as we spread festive cheer."

The group confirmed that further details on routes will be confirmed in due course.

The news comes as The Round Table recently confirmed plans to host a special Christmas Dinner event for 100 residents on Christmas Day at the Rise Café in Buckley, and the Daniel Owen Centre in Mold, cooked by The Round Table’s resident chefs, chairman, Colin Devitt and treasurer Eirian Price.

The concept was devised to support residents who are particularly vulnerable or would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day.
