Books of the Month

Our November 2022 books of the month are: Pridd by Llŷr Titus, and Drift by Caryl Lewis.

Drift by Caryl Lewis, and Pridd by Ll?r Titus.

Drift by Caryl Lewis, and Pridd by Ll?r Titus.

Pridd is a story that moves through the seasons and tells the tale of an elderly man living in rural Pen Llŷn. As the seasons move, we see the way in which they impact on his life and the crucial role they play agriculturally. This novel has been described as a 'masterpiece' which demonstrates Llŷr Titus' craft for writing.

Drift is a love story about a young Welsh woman and a Syrian mapmaker. The sea and setting create a magnetic and haunting atmosphere in this fantastic debut English language novel from acclaimed author Caryl Lewis. It is beautifully written: both hopeful and magical at the same time.
