A WREXHAM school boy has been praised for his fundraising efforts to raise money for The Poppy Appeal.
Owain Probert, 7, has been painting stones with poppies on for the last two years to fundraise for the cause.
This year was extra special for the youngster as it was in memory of his late grandfather who sadly passed away in February, who was the Poppy Appeal Organiser for Morrisons, Wrexham.

Owain, who is a pupil at All Saints School in Gresford, handed Wrexham MP, Sarah Atherton one of his stones at ASDA as he collected donations in aid of the appeal which remembers those who have died and been affected in conflict.
Owain's mum, Lorraine Ellis couldn't hide her pride for her selfless son as she said: "My husband Tim and I are beyond proud of Owain and his kind thoughtful ways wanting to raise as much money as possible for an amazing charity.
"We are thrilled to be able to support him in his efforts."
