A Wrexham man has gone straight from Halloween to Christmas unveiling a full festive display outside his home.
Whilst many of us may still be picking up cobwebs or putting away the witches hats, bells are certainly jingling at this Wrexham residence.
Dan Taylor, a painter and decorator from Rhostyllen, is renowned in the community for putting on an excellent seasonal display.
However, this year he wasted no time in transitioning from his full haunted Halloween decorations to a full Christmas grotto and was fully decorated for Christmas by Tuesday, November 1.
He said: "The reason I love putting lights up is I want to spread joy to everyone, as [the last] few years has been dull due to covid. Why not put them up in November and make me happy? And my kids love them.
Acknowledging the cost-of-living crisis, he added: "But why should we sit back, Christmas is fun and joyful. I love this time of year getting ready for Christmas movies and fun with the children"

Many residents shared their appreciation for the festive display and the family's effort.
Rachael Tudor said: "Every year you do a fantastic display. It's the street to go to at Halloween and Christmas. Quick turn around from last night, looks great."
Tracy Jones said: "This makes people smile so thank you very much, so thoughtful and generous."
But Heulwen Venables said: "Too early, just think of all your electricity bills, not even had bonfire night yet. I'm sure it will look fab when you've finished it. Good luck."
Marina Rippon echoed this point: "Way too early the 1st of December earliest".
Alongside the jubilant decorations Mr Taylor is hoping to use the opportunity to fundraise for a local cause, however, the details are yet to be confirmed.

Traditionally, Christmas trees should be put up and decorated at the start of Advent, which is the season in which Christians prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, known as Advent Sunday, and always ends on Christmas Eve (24 December).
This means that this year, Advent falls on Sunday, November 27.
