Wrexham residents are being warned to keep an eye on their push bikes after a recent spate of thefts from gardens.
North Wales Police are recommending that residents keep their bikes locked, especially if they are kept in gardens, in a post on the Community Alerts page.
It read: “Sadly, in the Wrexham area over the last week we have had push bikes stolen from within gardens. Please make sure you lock bikes up especially if you leave them out in the garden. North Wales Police strongly advise you to keep bikes locked up in the garage or shed rather than leaving them in the garden.”

Earlier this week on Tuesday (November 1), Inspector Luke Hughes of the Wrexham City policing team also reported bike thefts in his daily update.
The police had reports of a theft of a bike that was left outside a shop on Hope Street. At the time it was the second bike in a" few days" to be reported stolen, and a male was seen with hoody up riding away.
Inspector Hughes had also recommended that people lock their bikes, as this one had not been locked.
