A North Wales orchestra will join Llangollen Christmas Festival with a feast of nature inspired music.

NEW Sinfonia is holding its latest Greatest Sound Exhibition with music inspired by the natural world.

Nature and Us is a musical smorgasbord presented across two stages at the world-renowned Llangollen Pavilion on Saturday, November 26.

There will be something for everyone, with traditional masterpieces able to enjoy a smattering of Vivaldi and Elgar.

If drama and intensity are more preferred, then look no further than Piazzolla and Grieg.

Some may enjoy a modern Welsh twist from Claire Victoria-Roberts or Cameron Biles-Liddell or some sumptuous grandeur from Smetana.

For the vocal connoisseurs, delve into the rich sonorities supplied by NEW Voices.

For those who are young, or at least young at heart, join Slumbersaurus as he embarks on a new musical adventure across the forests, canals, and hills of the Vale of Llangollen.

This bilingual, musical adventure was created in partnership with Mudiad Meithrin and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Exploration of the two spaces is encouraged, dip in and out, grab a drink at the bar, or simply settle in for a musical experience like no other.

This event is presented in connection with the Llangollen Christmas Festival. The festival begins with a parade through the town at 1pm (expect some disruption on Abbey Road at this time), followed by events and a market in and around the town.

The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm followed by fireworks.
