A WOMAN was arrested after a road traffic crash in Wrexham, police have said.
Inspector Luke Hughes, of the Wrexham City policing team, said a female driver was arrested suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol after a two-vehicle crash on Stansty Road on Monday afternoon.
Police say one of the vehicles, a Nissan Juke was knocked on its side and that members of the public assisted with turning it back over.
Inspector Hughes is appealing for those who assisted and other witnesses that to contact 101/the live web chat, quoting reference 22000800316.
A timeline of incidents dealt with by the Wrexham City team in the last 24 hours is as follows:
8.32am (Tuesday) – Report of overnight damage to shop window on Hope street.

9.42am – Report of theft of bike left outside a shop on Hope Street. Second bike in a few days, male seen with hoody up riding away.
Inspector Hughes said: Bike not locked – please do try to make it hard for them. I appreciate that’s not an excuse and you should be afforded the peace of mind to turn your back for five mins, sadly there are some horrid people out there with no respect for you or your belongings."
11.28am – Theft at Central Arcade whereby an elderly female allegedly helps herself to loose change designed for charity.
5.40pm – Two reports of retail theft at Border Retail Park – one male detained and arrested for five alleged offences when officers attend.
