A FASCINATING collection of football shirts is helping to highlight Wales' finest tales from its time spent in the beautiful game so far.
The new exhibition at Wrexham Museum is entitled 'Shirt Stories - A Shirt By Shirt History of Welsh Football'.
And, just as it says on the tin, it has put some of Cymru's greatest home and away jerseys - as well as some club shirts and shirts of other countries - on display.
Shirt Stories tells the history of Welsh football through selected shirts held in the Welsh Football Collection and loans from private individuals.
The selection highlights the story of both men’s and women’s football, at national and club level and has been timed to coincide with the build-up to the World Cup in Qatar.

Some of the shirts on display include ones from Wales’ only previous appearance in a World Cup finals in 1958 (Sweden) - as worn by Mel Charles.
Also proudly sitting in the exhibit is Cefn Mawr's own Neco Williams' shirt from one of the matches v Estonia in the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Among others is a Wrexham shirt from 1990/91 - the year before they famously beat Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Highlighting the women's side of Welsh football is also an important part of the Shirt Stories journey.
And, as such, former Wales Ladies internationals such as Mandy Gornicki, whose shirt is on display, have recently been to visit the museum.
The shirt of current Wales women's team hero Sophie Ingle is also part of the Shirt Stories collection.
Also featured at the exhibit is a TV screen highlighting some of Wales' finest footballing moments, a 'design your own football shirt' wall and several information boards providing some interesting stats from years done by.

The display is expected to become a permanent fixture of the museum as it develops a new and exciting future in months to come.
The proposed new 'Museum of Two Halves' will be located in court rooms one and two and will each showcase the history of both Welsh football and the city of Wrexham respectively.
Talking about the Shirt Stories exhibit, Nick Jones - who was appointed Football Museum Officer in 2021 - said: "The football collection in Wrexham has been around for 20 years and has always been really strong for the men's national team.
"But there has been hardly any female presence within that, so when I first joined the museum, I was keen to access the women who have played for Wales and get some of their materials in.
"Through research, we have been able to make contact with some of these women - including some of those who played in the first official women's match in 1993 - and now we've got those shirts on display which is great.
"Hopefully, we will be able to expand on this and continue to tell the untold stories from both sides of the national team."
The exhibition is now open to the public and admission is free. It's well worth the visit!
