A WARNING has been issued after thieves attempted to steal cooking oil in the Wrexham area.
North Wales Police say the incident in question took place in Rossett yesterday morning (Thursday, October 27).
It involved suspects who were driving a white Vauxhall van.

Officers are now appealing to anyone using supplies of cooking oil to keep it stored away securely in order to deter thieves.
A statement from NWP read: "On the morning of Thursday 27th October an attempt was made to steal cooking oil from a location in Rossett.
"Suspects were driving a white Vauxhall van, please ensure that supplies of new or used cooking oil is securely stored and that collection is by authorised collection services.
"Please report any such incidents on 101 or 999 if in progress at the time."
