A historic locomotive will be passing through Wrexham tomorrow morning as it completes a test run.
The 61306 Mayflower will not be stopping at Wrexham General on the journey from Crewe H.S. 9.30 am on Friday, October 28, to Coton Hill T.C. for servicing but will be a sight for train enthusiasts.
The B1 locomotive will also pass through Crewe, Chester at around 10.35 am, and Shrewsbury at 11.40am, as well as Ruabon, Chirk and Gobowen. The timings are currently estimated and can be checked for a more accurate idea of where the locomotive will be.
The 61306 Mayflower is a B1 Class locomotive and was built in 1948 by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow.
Following the servicing, she will then depart Coton Hill T.C. and will pass through Shrewsbury, Cosford, Penkridge, Stafford and Crewe.
