It was a tale of two halves at the Racecourse last night as Wrexham came from behind to beat Halifax Town.
A sluggish first-half performance saw the Reds trailing at half time after Emmanuel Dieseruvwe's 10th minute penalty had the visitors in front.
Phil Parkinson's side were much better in the second half, with goals from Ben Tozer, Jordan Davies and Aaron Hayden sealing a 3-1 win in front of a packed-out Racecourse.
There were 10,039 fans in to watch Wrexham maintain their winning home record, and Reds co-chairmen Rob McElhenney saw his second win since taking over.
The 3-1 win helps the Reds keep the pace with Notts County, who looked likely to go six points clear at the top, before Wrexham's late cameo.
With Chesterfield and Boreham Wood dropping points, Phil Parkinson's side extended their lead from the teams chasing them.
Next up for the Reds is Altrincham at home on Saturday, with another big crowd expected.
