THE Wrexham Miners Rescue Station has welcomed two of the city's most recognisable faces ahead of a big event this weekend.
Wrexham AFC has become increasingly more and more popular since the takeover of the club by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney was complete in early 2021.
And the pair have been very hands on in their approach to taking charge of the club too - often being spotted in and around the Racecourse ground.
On Saturday (October 22), Rob was spotted in the Turf enjoying himself alongside locals, pub landlord Wayne Jones and band Declan Swans, who serenaded him with their 'Always Sunny In Wrexham' hit.

On Sunday, he was seen chatting to and taking pictures with fans of all ages at Wrexham Ladies' 5-2 win over Llandudno.
Then, yesterday (Monday, October 24), the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star spent time at various Wrexham businesses.
He was pictured alongside the Wrexham Lager team and also praised the 'incredible work' the Wrexham Foodbank team do following a visit to their site.
Now, it has been confirmed that Rob also paid a visit to the Wrexham Miners Rescue Station on Maesgwyn Road.
Whilst there, he and Wrexham's Executive Director Humphrey Ker - who was a popular figure in Disney Plus' Welcome to Wrexham series - were the first to try out a Halloween special photo booth.
That has been set up ahead of the station's popular Halloweekender event returning for a second time this week.

A statement from Wrexham Miners Rescue Station following the pair's visit read: "Thanks to Rob and Humphrey for their visit to the Miners Rescue Station today!
"They enjoyed their preview of our up and coming ‘Halloweekender 2’ Event and were the first to try out our Photobooth!!
All proceeds from the Halloweekender event - which raised over £700 in 2021 - go towards the renovation of the building.
Halloweekender 2 is running from 6pm every night between October 27 and October 31.
