A FORMER Flintshire woman living in Australia died of "multiple penetrative sharp injuries", an inquest opening heard.
Amanda Jane Blake, aged 38, died outside her home in the city of Blacktown in New South Wales, Australia, on September 25.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (October 24), an inquest was opened into Miss Blake's death.
John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said the case had been transferred by a coroner in New South Wales - with Miss Blake having been a British citizen, originally from Flintshire.
The inquest was told that following a post-mortem, a pathologist found that Mrs Blake died of "multiple penetrative sharp injuries".
Mr Gittins said that further evidence on the case needs to be gathered, and adjourned the inquest until a later date.
