Co-chairman of Wrexham AFC Rob McElhenney spent time at the Turf yesterday (October 23) for the match against Boreham Wood away.
The ‘It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ star joined fans at the pub next to the Racecourse as Wrexham drew 1-1 and remain second in the league, just three points behind Notts County.
TV presenter and Wrexham fan Ruth Dodsworth was also at the pub, and later posted a picture on social media of herself and the co-chairman to social media.
She Tweeted: “You know when your mate turns up in the same shirt. Standard really. @RMcElhenney@Wrexham_AFC”

The actor was also pictured with many others at the Turf, including owner Wayne Jones who also later Tweeted: “What a great afternoon at the Turf. Family, friends, and the Chairman and his lovely family. Very good point at BW topped off a great day. Heads a bit sore today after nailing the Penderyn!”

During his trip to Wrexham, Rob also made a short but hilarious video wishing co-chairman and Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds happy birthday, which was filmed at the Racecourse.
Rob was also at today’s Wrexham AFC Women’s match against Llandudno, where they won 5-2.
Plenty of entertainment in that first-half for our co-chairman to enjoy!
