A PLANNING application to turn a former service station into a dog grooming facility is the amongst the latest to be submitted to Flintshire Council.
The proposal would see a change of use of the old Golftyn Service Station, on Church Street in Connah's Quay, to a dog grooming service.
Planning documents state that the only changes to the external appearance of the current building would be the replacement of the roller shutter door with a glazed shop front on solid panels below.
Other notable planning applications recently submitted to Flintshire County Council are as follows:
- Plans for a change of use of a dwelling house at 43, Lower Aston Hall Lane, Hawarden into a care home.
- Plans for an extension of Rhydymwyn Service Station. This scheme proposes the construction of a new extension to the rear of the shop and some internal alterations to provide improved facilities for those who work and visit Rhydymwyn Service Station.
- Plans for a change of use of the existing car storage/office building at Glenfield, Middle Lane, Higher Kinnerton to accommodate 10 individually privately let general storage units.
- Plans for erection of one dwelling home on land adjacent to the White Horse Inn, Merilyn Lane, Pen Y Bont, Bagillt.
- Plans for erection of a replacement dwelling at Pedair Groesffordd, Mountain Road, Cilcain, with the retention of the historic part of the original dwelling to be used for outbuildings ancillary to the main house.
