AN ICONIC Wrexham brand has seen a 'dramatic rise' in sales of its items over in the US since a popular doumentary about the city and its football club first aired.
The Welcome to Wrexham series released on Disney Plus shined a spotlight on Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover of Wrexham AFC.
However, it also highlighted the best of Wrexham's community too - from its long-standing businesses to the die-hard Reds fans living there.
As such, several businesses and individuals have benefitted from the global popularity of the series.
Wrexham AFC itself saw a huge rise in sales of its shirts and other merchandise since Welcome to Wrexham first aired.

Now, Wrexham Lager has also revealed that it has seen a 'dramatic rise' in the sale of its products since the gripping 18-episode series launched.
A statement from the business read: "Since our Brewery Shop appeared proudly at the end of 'Welcome to Wrexham' first series, we have seen a dramatic rise in our US sales!
"Since Friday (October 14), we have passed triple figures of merch and clothing being ordered from our website, as well as orders from Australia, New Zealand & Canada.
"We cannot thank the documentary team enough for this exposure and next on our list: Export beer to the USA!"
Welcome to Wrexham is set to boost the community further in the future too with Rob McElhenney confirming that it will return for a second season in 2023.
The Wrexham Lager Beer Company Limited was first founded in 1882 by two German immigrants, Ivan Levinstein and Otto Isler, where they made bitters, ales and lagers.
In 2000, the business stopped producing Wrexham Lager products, the site was demolished and changed into a shopping outlet.
However, there was a revival of the Wrexham Lager product in 2011 with brothers Mark Roberts and Vaughan Roberts building a much smaller but successful brewery which has led to great success and even the opening of a brewery shop.
The firm has just recently launched its first very own bar in the middle of Wrexham.
